Sorry To Disappoint, But..
The engagement was short-lived.There is a possibility in the near future that I'll delete the posts that refer to my engagement, because they're kinda painful and embarrassing to look at.
For now, I'll leave them up, because they're part of my journey through life.
Please don't ask questions about "why," "what happened," or "who broke it off?" These are tactless and nosy. Certainly not for a public forum such as this one (all six of you who haven't forgotten about my blog).
Anyway, my wish is that our community know no more tza'ar, whether it's physical, emotional, or spiritual.
May we only share in simchas together in the future! :)

Having gone through the same situation myself, I can empathize with your current feelings. Definitely not something for public discussion... May you find your true zivug at the appropriate time, per Ratzon HaShem, and have only bracha and hatzlacha in all that you do.

Sorry to hear. A close friend of mine had gone through this... I highly recommend getting a doll, naming it after your ex and doing mean things to it. (somewhat) worked for my friend.

I hope to be able to share some lessons learned from this experience.
I had 2 broken engagements, and very long agonizing relationship that lasted a year and a half, before I met my husband . I believe I once wrote you about it, several years ago.
Marriage is no bowl of cherries either, for most couples, I know; your truely included. So be very happy you dodged a bullet, and can still enjoy your freedom.
The suggestion, about the doll from one of the commenters, is humorous, albeit very immature. Dont dwell on it, Michelle. You are just going to cause yourself needless agmas nefesh. Look forward to a brighter tommorrow, and davern to Hashem to send your true zivug, iyh very soon...
